CPC is an authorized facilitator of Awareness to Action, a 6-month training and consultation program designed to help youth-serving organizations strengthen policies, procedures, and systems to better protect children and communities. Darkness to Light

CPC is an authorized facilitator of Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children®, an evidence-based training that equips adults to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to child sexual abuse. CPC is an authorized facilitator in Darkness to Light’s Child Safety Foundations, a training series designed to equip adults with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to protect children from harm. CPC's coalition to end the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC):

The Child Protection Center is one of four child advocacy centers in Missouri to lead a coalition focused on preventing child exploitation.

CSEC Coalition Mission: Working together as an MDT to disrupt, prevent, and respond to commercial sexual exploitation of children through training, education, and collaboration.

The coalition meets every other month and focuses on building awareness, identifying children at risk, and improving services for victims of CSEC. We are inviting multidisciplinary team members including medical providers, social workers, educators, mental health professionals, and law enforcement to get involved.
